Wildlife damages are damages to seedings and crops caused by wild animals.

In the event at which wild boars, elks, deers, fallow deers or roe deers cause damage on farmland, an appropriate hunting organization appointed to the area, is obligated to valuate the damage and compensate for the loss. However if damages were caused by bisons, bears, wolves, beavers, the liability lies on the National Treasury.

Procedures for reporting such damages, methods of valuating the loss and time limit for payment of compensation are set in various acts, such as Hunting Law from 13th October 1995 and directive of the Ministry of the Environment from 8th of march 2010 related to procedures of damages valuation and payment for losses in seedings and crops.
